Hive is committed to protecting personal data and handling it responsibly in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and other relevant privacy laws.
1. Who we are
Hive is a software-as-a-service provider offering learning, enablement and performance intelligence platforms to business customers.
Depending on the context:
- Hive acts as a data controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing personal data (for example, website visitors, marketing contacts, or user account administration); and
- Hive acts as a data processor when we process personal data on behalf of our customers in accordance with their instructions (for example, personal data uploaded to the Services by customers).
Where Hive acts as a processor, processing is governed by the applicable contract and Data Processing Addendum rather than this Privacy Policy.

- visitors to our websites;
- individuals who create or manage user accounts;
- individuals who contact us, attend events, or receive marketing communications; and
- limited operational data generated through use of the Services (such as account administration and platform usage analytics).
This Privacy Policy does not govern:
- customer data processed by Hive solely on behalf of customers as a processor; or
- confidential business data uploaded by customers that does not constitute personal data.
